BROADWAY BOOKING OFFICE NYC is a theatrical tour booking, marketing and press company, located in New York City at Rockefeller Center. Operations include the distribution of new Broadway musicals, popular plays and name-brand family programming for presentation in venues including legitimate theatres, auditoriums, concert halls and other public places of assembly throughout North America and internationally. Producers of theatrical productions engage BBO NYC to provide the following services: engagement booking, engagement contracting, engagement management, and engagement marketing and press. BBO NYC holds a unique position in the industry by providing first-class booking services as well as expert tour marketing and press services, all under one roof. This integrated approach provides greater service to the producers, their productions and the theatres that present the productions. The BBO NYC theatrical touring projects include the following::

STEVEN SCHNEPP (President) has collaborated on theatrical presentations for more than 25 years. Starting his career as a press agent in Dallas, then house manager in Austin and then tour company manager to 125+ cities, he began booking Les Miserables for Cameron Mackintosh in 1989 and has been booking shows ever since. Steven was the associate producer for The Light in the Piazza tour and served as executive producer for OVATIONS! Concert Celebrations of Great American Musicals in Chicago, featuring Strike Up The Band starring Bea Arthur, One Touch of Venus and Babes in Arms. He is a contributing writer for the book, Theatre Management: Producing and Managing the Performing Arts. Steven is an active member of The Broadway League, a voter for the Tony Awards and a member of the Association of Theatrical Press Agents and Managers. TEMAH HIGGINS (Executive Vice President) is delighted to work with Steve Schnepp and the BBO team providing booking, marketing, logistical and revenue management oversight for multiple theatrical productions. Prior to joining BBO NYC Temah was the Vice President for Booking and Engagement Management at AWA Touring Services, and Programming Manager for all dance, festivals, performance art and jazz at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. Temah is a member of The Broadway League, a voter for the Tony Awards® and a member of ATPAM. DAVID FREELAND (Senior Booking and Engagement Manager) started in the theatrical booking field back in 1998, when he began working with his wonderful colleagues, Steven Schnepp and Temah Higgins (and, later, Kent McIngvale and Jenny Bates), at AWA Touring Services. Since then he has been involved with the booking and engagement management of many Broadway tours. One of his most valued experiences was helping take Les Miserables to China and Korea during the summer of 2002. A writer and music journalist, David has authored the books Automats, Taxi Dances and Vaudeville: Excavating Manhattan’s Lost Places of Leisure and Ladies of Soul. He holds an MA in Cultural Anthropology from Columbia University. KENT McINGVALE (Senior Vice President, Marketing and Press) has created innovative, specialized marketing and press campaigns for touring Broadway, variety and family productions since 1999. He holds an MBA in Marketing from Purdue University and studied music and biology at the University of Alabama. An active musician, he plays the bassoon and sings occasionally in a variety of venues. His favorite part of working ‘on the road’ is traveling (he counts Tokyo, Japan as his favorite ‘advance trip’!) and knowing the special people in our industry. See you soon! JENNY BATES (Vice President, Marketing and Press)has been in love with the theatre industry since she first stepped on stage in The King and I in 1987. She began her “behind the scenes” career in theatre with Broadway/San Diego – A Nederlander Organization and served as the Press & Marketing Manager for many Broadway national tours at AWA Touring Services. Jen graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications and Film from San Diego State University. She has served on the Board of Directors at Christian Community Theatre in San Diego, CA and has worked artistically (both on stage and off) at The Old Globe, The Zipper Factory, Starlight Musical Theatre, HERE, La Jolla Stage Company and the San Diego Chamber Orchestra. Favorite role onstage: Sheila in A Chorus Line. A proud member of ATPAM. ZACH STEVENSON (Marketing and Press Manager) comes to the Broadway Booking Office from Pittsburgh, PA where he was a Show Marketing Manager for The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. During his time there, he handled the seasonal and individual show marketing, advertising and promotions for the PNC Broadway Across America – Pittsburgh series, in addition to various music, dance, comedy and family events. He also managed the PR for select presentations including THE RAT PACK IS BACK, WICKED, MY FAIR LADY and THE DROWSY CHAPERONE. Zach holds a degree in Sport, Arts and Entertainment Management from Point Park University. Judith Hoenig Adelson (Booking and Engagement Manager) Since 2001, Judith has specialized in booking family entertainment such as the Nickelodeon/Clear Channel Entertainment titles (Blue’s Clues Live!, Dora the Explorer Live! and Go, Diego, Go Live!) which cumulatively grossed more than $150 million. Before beginning her booking career, she danced professionally for 15 years with such companies as Joffrey Ballet, Ballet Chicago and the national tour of The Phantom of the Opera. This last “gig” opened the door to her joining AWA Touring Services where she slid behind the curtains into a career booking live theatre. She is delighted to be working once again with her friends at BBO after having “co-produced” Hannah and Zev with hubby Seth. ALEXANDER PARRA (Booking and Engagement Management Associate) has had a passion for theatre since he was a young boy growing up in Gardnerville, NV. While attending college at the University of San Diego, he worked for Broadway/San Diego: A Nederlander Presentation in the marketing and promotions department where he was fortunate enough to learn the ins and outs of presenting a show while strengthening his love for theater. After finishing his Masters in Accounting at San Diego, Alex moved to New York and worked on A Little Night Music, Finian’s Rainbow, and the Young Frankenstein Tour. Now at BBONYC, Alex is excited to be part of this wonderful team. Julia D’Angelo (Booking and Engagement Management Associate) is thrilled to join the wonderful team at Broadway Booking Office NYC after graduating from Emerson College Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Communications. She has seen and worked on all sides of theatre from acting in many professional Chicago productions including the American Girl Revue at the American Girl Doll Place to producing and publicizing an original hip-hopera, Intergalactic Transfer Students at the Boston Center for the Performing Arts, Virginia Wimberly Theatre. She has been fortunate to work as a production assistant on Broadway tours of Wicked and Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me as well as having incredible internships in Marketing and Public Relations at Broadway In Chicago and Margie Korshak Inc. |
