Film at the Theater from BY Experience

As you contemplate plans for re-opening, consider inviting patrons into your theater for a filmed performance of Kinky Boots, 42nd Street or War Horse with socially-distanced seating.

BBO has partnered with BY Experience, the pioneers of live event content to cinema screens, to bring you these and many more titles for theatrical presentation. We hope this program will help you generate revenue and community building opportunity, while you welcome patrons back to your venue in a safe and financially low-risk way.

You can mix and match titles, creating your ideal summer/fall filmed theater exhibition series. Additional titles include:
NT Live’s King Lear (Sir Ian McKellen)
NT Live’s A View From the Bridge (Mark Strong, dir. Ivo van Hove)

Bonus: offer also includes the series “Great Art On Screen,” featuring several 90-minute visual art documentaries

Reviews

“During this extended ‘intermission,’ Walton Arts Center is thrilled to be able to offer high-quality, professionally filmed theater experiences to our patrons through a partnership with BBO NYC and BY Experience. Knowing that our audiences miss live theater experiences, we believe that these films presented on a large screen in a theater that allows patrons to socially distance will bring back some of the excitement to our venue in a safe and responsible way.”

Scott Galbraith, Vice President and Executive Producer at Walton Arts Center

“The digital experience of 42nd Street: The Musical was fantastic! The platform was amazing and easy to use. The audience loved the show! We are looking forward to offering more shows this way.”

Jessica Howard, Performing Arts Manager at Cam-Plex

“This week we are reopening our theatre to live audiences for the first time in 6 months with our Classic Film Series. We’re very excited to be working with BBO and BY Experience to enhance this popular series with NT Live titles like Fleabag starring Phoebe Waller-Bridge. This is the sort of fun and fresh content that Paramount audiences have missed and are looking forward to seeing again, in a safe and socially distanced environment.”
