Third Rail Projects is hailed as one of the foremost companies creating site-specific, immersive, and experiential dance and theater. Their currently running, award-winning, immersive hit Then She Fell, was named as one of the “Top Ten Shows of 2012” by Ben Brantley of The New York Times, and acclaimed as one of the best theater experiences of 2013 by Vogue. Other notable and critically acclaimed NYC-based works include The Grand Paradise, Behind the City, and Ghost Light created for Lincoln Center Theatre.
Third Rail Projects is also recognized for its national and international work creating new site-specific performances with local artists. Such works include Sweet & Lucky with the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Learning Curve with Chicago’s Albany Park Theater Company, and numerous projects in St. Petersburg, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Hong Kong.
Third Rail Projects is currently planning future projects for the 2020 – 2021 season and is available to be commissioned to create new work at home and abroad.
Third Rail Projects, led by artistic directors Zach Morris, Tom Pearson, and Jennine Willett, is dedicated to re-envisioning ways in which audiences engage with contemporary performance.
